Continuation of STAYING IN THE WORD OF GOD. 1 Genesis 2:16-17 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall die
God has given them Adam and Eve life in what way? By giving them the Word of Life but the liar- the deceiver came to steal it from them. If only the woman had neglect him, they won't have lost the Word of Life. Genesis 3:2-4 And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but God said, You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, kept you die. 4 But ve serpent said to the woman, You will not die So brethren, don't allow satan in your family, in your life. Never try to give in a help and a lift in your journey of life, if you try giving him a lift, he would take over- control the steering wheel of your life and drive you to hell.
If Eve had said no not allowing the serpent to have a talk with her, they wouldn't have be thrown out of the garden of Eden. 23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken. 24 He drove out the man; and at the east of the garden of Eden He place the cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the used of life. Genesis 3:23-24
In the Word, there is life. And you still have the grace today to abide in the Word and let the Word abide in you because many are long died who would at the point of death wish they had the Word dwelling in them before departing from earth but could not receive the grace of reading the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
Be careful so as not to lose the truth for deceit but what a pity that many Christians and congregations have replace and lost the truth for deceit- for lies and to accomplish their own permissive will. Why continue to serve God like He doesn't see all you do or like your life and ways are not in His hands? No wonder you keep complaining that you see no answer to your prayers.
John 9:39 Jesus said; For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may become blind.
Brethren, except the truth- the undiluted Word of God lives in you and I, we can never know who we truly are and we can't be a true disciple of God.
How many of today's Christians are true children of God? Does the Bible you and I carry change us- speaking to us? Does it rebuke us from sinning? And can God testify of you as He said of Job [Job 1:8; Job 2:3] And the LORD said to satan, Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and uprigt man, who fears God and utop away from evil? Job 1:8
Bottom Line: Deuteronomy 32:47 These laws are not mere words- they are your life! Through obeying them you will live long, plentiful lives......
Joshua 1:7-8 7 Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law.......; turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go. 8 This book of the law hall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and might, thu you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.
Psalms 19:7-8 7 The law of the LORD is perfect reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; 8 the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
Lastly, how many Christians believes in the Bible? No wonder many peoples get silence for an answer when they pray!
Talking about making Heaven, if you don't have the Word of God dwelling in you and you think you will make Heaven, you are only deceiving yourself.
[God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24]
